PAWS ‘R’ US Pet Shipping Service includes importing pets and domestic pet transportation by air. Using a pet shipper is the easiest and surest method to transport your pet. Some airlines will not even accept animals handled by anyone other than a pet shipper. We will make all the necessary travel reservations, ensure all requirements are met for the airline and IATA regulations, and ensure that your pet is handled with care.
First we will ensure that your pet can qualify to fly. Next, we will submit required forms including required health certificates and then book your pet’s flight. We will also ensure that your pet’s animal transportation container meets IATA regulations and is labelled properly for transport. And finally, our service includes airport delivery to ensure that no one misses their flight!
We also offer the option of pre-boarding to prepare your pet for travel. Advantages of pre-boarding are to ensure that your pet
becomes comfortable with it’s shipping container and is fed and exercised properly before flying. We will place a favourite toy and/or bedding in the container and allow your pet to have free access to the container; your pet will also go through periods of being confined to the container by closing and latching the door. Proper feeding and exercise are equally important to avoid an upset stomach or dehydration during the flight.
